Ever tried to eat and drink when you’re not feeling it?

It's easy to get things right!

When you consider risk and have options. Here's how you do it:

I promised you a gift last time. Read below.

We went to explore the island with a motorbike and the rain caught us. Again. Our ride transformed into an unplanned epic adventure.

It was the second beautiful and sunny day in a row. In the morning we went to get a coffee at our usual coffee shop. It was great! I’ll tell you about that another time.

We thought about taking the raincoats but said:

"Nah - the sun is out. It won’t rain. " It can't. It's a holiday!

Then we went to Palaiokastritsa. For the beach. On a recommendation. The rain started on the way. We were on a scooter 🛵 in shorts and tees.

Then it got worse …

And the traffic was bad. The car in front was rented by a tourist - I’m sure of it. Never saw someone driving that slow when I’m in a hurry getting wet …

Anyway…

We hid in a supermarket until the rain stopped. Then we went to the beach and the rain started again - worse this time. Quickly parked the scooter and took refuge on a [covered] terrace.

We had some food when we were not hungry.

Ever tried to eat and drink when you’re not feeling it? It doesn’t fit!

It’s hard work . Boring . Unproductive …

So …

Then we went back to the AirBnB. Then the rain stopped and the sun came out. Fantastic! ..

Just a great day: raining on the road and sunny when back home. We should have stayed put!

Are you also jumping heads-on into your projects without proper planning?

You need to manage your engineering risks. Is it Tech, is it PM - have you thought about everything? Managing and mitigating risk? Maybe and FMA; what can go wrong?

It’s simple really. Not always easy, but simple. But it can become easy too when you know what you are doing.

I’m curious! What are You doing to manage risk?

Hit reply to this email and let me know your thoughts about it.

P.S.:

I promised you a gift. Here it is:

How do you take decisions in a structured way? I using this scheme: feel free to download and copy.
